Role Description The Accountant (Equity & Investment) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. In this role, the accountant will manage and record equity and investment transactions, prepare and review journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reports.

The role involves monitoring investment portfolios, reconciling accounts, and supporting periodic financial reporting related to equity holdings and investment performance.



The accountant will work closely with finance and consulting teams to provide analytical insights, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support audits and internal reviews. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in budgeting, variance analysis, and improving financial processes for equity and investment accounting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge and Analytical Skills relevant to equity and investment analysis.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger accounting.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site setting.
