About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Accounts Executive with strong hands-on knowledge of TallyPrime to manage day-to-day accounting and financial documentation.
The candidate should be comfortable independently handling routine accounting activities and coordinating with management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounts in TallyPrime
- Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Conduct customer, vendor and ledger reconciliations
- Maintain invoices, vouchers and supporting accounting records
- Handle GST-related accounting and reconciliation
- Handle TDS-related entries and documentation
- Assist with monthly and year-end account closing
- Coordinate with CA and auditors for taxation, GST, TDS and audit requirements
- Prepare basic accounting reports and MIS for management
- Ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of financial records
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong practical knowledge of TallyPrime
- Positive understanding of GST and TDS
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting work
- B.Com / M.Com or relevant qualification preferred
Experience in FMCG, food processing, manufacturing or distribution will be an advantage.
