About the Role:

Banthia Consultancy is looking for a skilled and responsible Accounts Supervisor to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, accounts finalization, and MS Excel, along with the ability to coordinate and supervise routine accounting work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.

- Record and verify purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, and expense entries.

- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and other accounting records.

- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

- Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payment documentation.

- Handle accounting activities related to GST and TDS.

- Ensure proper recording and documentation of GST and TDS transactions.

- Assist in preparation and filing of GST/TDS-related information and returns.





- Perform accounts finalization and assist in preparation of financial statements.

- Assist in preparing Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.

- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlement.

- Prepare monthly and periodic MIS and accounting reports for management.

- Verify accounting entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.

- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and other external parties when required.

- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

- Review the work of junior accounting staff and provide necessary guidance.

- Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and within deadlines.

- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company-related information.

- Support management with accounting and financial information whenever required.

- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
