: Accounts Manager – Real Estate (Residential Projects)

Important: Candidates without practical RERA accounting experience and demonstrated team leadership experience should not be shortlisted.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Accounts Manager with a strong background in the real estate and residential construction industry, particularly in companies involved in the development and sale of residential flats and apartments. The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, strong expertise in RERA accounting, and the ability to prepare accurate financial reports, manage a team, and ensure financial compliance across residential projects.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 6–8 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably with a reputed real estate developer or residential construction company.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a managerial or team-leadership role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in RERA accounting for residential real estate projects is mandatory.
- Proven experience in preparing accurate financial statements, management reports, and project-wise MIS.
- Strong understanding of project accounting, construction costing, budgeting, cash flow, and financial controls.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop an Accounts team.
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities 1. Real Estate & RERA Accounting

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations for residential real estate and apartment projects.




- Ensure compliance with applicable RERA accounting requirements, including project-wise financial records, RERA-designated bank account reconciliations, and utilization tracking, as applicable.
- Monitor project costs, construction expenses, customer collections, vendor payments, and project-wise profitability.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.

2. Financial Reporting & MIS

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and project-wise financial reports.
- Develop and maintain monthly MIS reports, budget-versus-actual reports, cost analysis, and financial forecasts.
- Track project budgets, cash flows, receivables, payables, and outstanding liabilities.
- Present financial performance, key variances, and actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all financial reports.

3. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Accounts team, ensuring clear allocation of responsibilities and accountability.
- Review the team's work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of deliverables.
- Establish internal controls, accounting processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with senior management, project teams, CRM, Sales, Legal, vendors, and external auditors.
- Demonstrate robust decision-making, problem-solving, and team-management capabilities.

4. Statutory Compliance & Audit

- Oversee GST, TDS, income tax, Tally/ERP accounting, reconciliations, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation for all financial transactions and ensure audit readiness.
- Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely filing and payment of applicable taxes.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
