About the Role

We are looking for a physiotherapist with specific clinical experience in the assessment and management of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMDs), orofacial pain and associated cervical musculoskeletal conditions.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary practice focused on Orofacial Pain, TMDs and Dental Sleep Medicine, working alongside a OFP-trained dentist, clinical psychologist and mindfulness practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and manage patients with muscular TMD, masticatory myofascial pain and associated cervical dysfunction.
- Provide evidence-based manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular rehabilitation.
- Develop individualised home exercise and self-management programmes.
- Use appropriate biofeedback, relaxation and muscle-retraining techniques.
- Monitor pain, jaw function, range of movement and treatment outcomes.
- Coordinate rehabilitation with the specialist dentist and other treating practitioners.
- Maintain clear clinical records and progress reports.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

- BPT or MPT from a recognised institution.
- Current qualified registration where applicable.
- Demonstrable clinical experience treating patients with TMDs and orofacial pain.
- Additional training in TMJ rehabilitation, orofacial pain physiotherapy or relevant cranio-cervical rehabilitation.




- Practical experience using TENS and surface EMG biofeedback in the management of TMDs, orofacial pain and associated cervical musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience with manual therapy and exercise-based management of musculoskeletal pain.
- Ability to work independently within a coordinated treatment plan.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with chronic pain rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with surface EMG biofeedback or other relevant biofeedback techniques.
- Understanding of pain neuroscience and multidisciplinary pain management.

Working Arrangement

This is a visiting, appointment-based position in Bengaluru. Patient appointments will be scheduled according to clinical demand, with ongoing coordination with the OFP specialist. The practice is newly establishing its multidisciplinary Orofacial Pain and TMD services in Bengaluru, with patient appointments expected to increase as the practice develops.
