- Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests, seat them promptly, and provide menus.
- Order Taking: Listen to orders, use POS (Point of Sale) systems or order pads, and relay requests to the kitchen.
- Menu Knowledge: Explain menu items, highlight daily specials, answer allergy questions, and suggest upselling options.
- Food Service: Deliver food and drinks accurately, check presentation, and verify guest satisfaction during the meal.
- Table Maintenance: Clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware (pre-bussing), and reset tables for new guests.
- Payments: Present bills, process cash, credit card, or digital transactions, and give back change.
