The role involves working closely with management, business stakeholders, frontend and backend developers, and other team members to translate business requirements into functional specifications, design user-friendly interfaces, validate application functionality, identify defects, and ensure that deliverables meet approved requirements and quality standards.

The candidate will also be responsible for minor frontend coding and UI corrections, as required, while coordinating with the development team for complex technical changes.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Business Analysis and Requirement Management

- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Convert business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications for the development team.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, workflows, user journeys, and module-wise requirement documents.
- Coordinate with developers to clarify requirements and resolve functional queries.

- Maintain design consistency across website pages, dashboards, forms, and marketplace workflows.
- Prepare and maintain UI/UX specifications for frontend developers.
- Review existing screens and identify usability, navigation, layout, and responsiveness issues.
- Incorporate approved feedback from management, stakeholders, and testing teams.
- Verify that implemented interfaces match approved designs.
- Maintain organised design files, reusable components, and supporting assets in company-controlled storage.

C. Software Testing and Quality Assurance

- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on documented requirements.
- Perform manual, functional, UI, integration, regression, and cross-browser testing.
- Validate forms, field restrictions, mandatory fields, error messages, navigation, and business workflows.
- Test end-to-end user journeys across relevant marketplace modules.
- Identify, document, classify, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and supporting evidence.
- Maintain a centralised bug tracker containing defect ID, module, severity, priority, assigned owner, status, and retesting results.
- Coordinate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Retest fixes and verify that resolved defects do not introduce new issues.
- Maintain test execution reports and defect closure evidence.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

and collect structured feedback from designated users.
- Verify completed features against approved acceptance criteria.
- Highlight critical and unresolved defects that may affect a release or website launch.

D. Supporting Frontend Coding and UI Corrections

- Perform minor frontend modifications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the existing frontend framework, where applicable.
- Correct basic UI layout issues, styling inconsistencies, responsive behaviour, and visual defects.
- Assist developers with implementing approved design adjustments.
- Validate frontend changes after implementation.
- Maintain transparent documentation of changes made.
- Coordinate complex coding requirements, API integrations, and architectural changes with the responsible developers.

Note: This role primarily focuses on business analysis, UI/UX design, and software quality assurance. Major frontend development and backend programming remain the responsibility of the designated development team unless separately assigned.

E. Project Coordination and Documentation

- Maintain an updated module-wise task and deliverable tracker.
- Monitor task status, deadlines, dependencies, blockers, and pending approvals.
- Coordinate with business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
