Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Decor Designer to conceptualise, design, and execute luxury weddings and experiential events. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, excellent client-handling skills, and the ability to translate creative concepts into stunning, practical on-ground decor experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Concept & Creative Design

- Develop unique wedding themes, concepts, moodboards, colour palettes, and design narratives.

- Create innovative decor concepts for wedding functions, including stages, entrances, mandaps, dining areas, and experiential zones.

- Stay updated with global wedding trends, materials, textures, florals, and design innovations.

2. Client Meetings & Presentations

- Attend client meetings to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.

- Present moodboards, concepts, and decor designs to clients with clarity and confidence.

- Incorporate client feedback while maintaining the overall creative direction.

3. Design Development & Coordination

- Develop detailed decor designs, elevations, and visual presentations.

- Coordinate with the internal design team for 2D layouts, technical drawings, and design detailing.

- Ensure creative concepts are practical, budget-conscious, and feasible for execution.

4. Vendor & Production Coordination

- Coordinate with fabricators, florists, production teams, and other vendors.

- Brief vendors on design requirements, materials, finishes, dimensions, and quality expectations.

- Source suitable materials, furniture, props, fabrics, and decorative elements.

In office Execution & Quality Control

- Supervise decor installation and ensure designs are executed as approved.

- Conduct site inspections and resolve design-related challenges during setup.

- Ensure attention to detail, finishing quality, colour accuracy, and overall visual consistency.

- Coordinate with production and execution teams to meet project timelines.

6. Team Management

- Guide junior designers and coordinate design tasks within the team.

- Review design deliverables and maintain consistency across all event functions.

- Take ownership of design development from concept creation to final execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–7 years of experience in wedding decor, event design, luxury hospitality, or experiential design.

- Strong creative vision and understanding of colours, fabrics, florals, furniture, lighting, and spatial aesthetics.

- Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, Photoshop, or other relevant design tools.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-management skills.

- Strong vendor coordination, problem-solving, and project-management abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

- Willingness to travel and work on-site during wedding events.

Key Expectations

- Deliver distinctive, high-quality design concepts aligned with the brand's luxury positioning.

- Maintain design quality and consistency from presentation to execution.

- Ensure timely completion of design deliverables.

- Take complete ownership of assigned projects and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.

Someone who combines creativity with practical execution, has a keen eye for detail, and can independently lead the decor design process for high-end weddings.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
