Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Phonics Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching young learners the fundamentals of phonics, helping them develop strong reading, pronunciation, spelling, and communication skills through engaging and age-appropriate activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging phonics lessons for young learners.
- Teach letter sounds, blending, segmenting, decoding, and word formation.
- Develop students’ reading, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary skills.
- Use stories, songs, games, flashcards, worksheets, and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable.
- Assess students’ progress and provide appropriate feedback and support.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Communicate students’ progress with parents and the school/institute management.
- Prepare teaching materials and maintain lesson records.
- Participate in teacher training, meetings,



and other academic activities when required.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field preferred.
- Phonics/early-years teaching certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching phonics or young children preferred.
- Robust knowledge of phonics and early reading techniques.
- Excellent English pronunciation and communication skills.
- Patient, creative, enthusiastic, and comfortable working with children.
- Ability to engage children through interactive and activity-based teaching.

Pay: ₹184.43 per hour
