Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain a scalable Point of Sale (POS) software platform. The candidate will be responsible for developing both frontend and backend systems, database architecture, APIs, integrations, and deployment while ensuring secure and reliable transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the POS application using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS/Express.js.
- Design and develop scalable REST APIs and backend services.
- Build modules for billing, sales, purchases, inventory, products, customers, payments, and reports.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL databases and manage transactional data.
- Integrate payment gateways, barcode/QR systems, printers, and other POS peripherals.
- Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access, and application security.
- Ensure accurate handling of transactions, inventory updates, refunds, and returns.
- Develop dashboards and reporting features for sales, inventory, and business operations.
- Test, debug, optimize, and maintain production applications.
- Deploy and manage applications using Git, Docker, AWS/cloud platforms, and CI/CD.
- Work closely with product, business, and UI/UX teams to develop new features.

Required Technical Skills

- Frontend: React.js,



Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: Node.js, NestJS / Express.js
- Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL; MongoDB is an advantage
- API: REST APIs, API integration, authentication & authorization
- Security: JWT, role-based access control, API security
- Tools: Git, GitHub, Postman
- DevOps: Docker and AWS/cloud deployment
- Understanding of real-time applications and transaction processing

Preferred POS / Industry Experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in POS, retail, ERP, inventory management, billing, or e-commerce platforms will be preferred.

Experience with payment gateways, GST/tax calculations, barcode/QR integration, billing printers, inventory synchronization, multi-store systems, and transaction processing will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to independently develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-ready applications.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
