Job Title: CNC Machine Shop Production Supervisor (Shift)

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising CNC machining operations during the assigned shift to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. The role involves managing shop floor manpower, monitoring machine performance, and coordinating with planning, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise shift-wise CNC machining operations to achieve planned production targets.
- Allocate and manage operators across machines as per the production plan.
- Ensure proper machine setup, tooling availability, and process adherence before starting production.
- Monitor production output, machine utilization, cycle time, and idle time during the shift.
- Maintain route cards, production records, shift reports and production entry.
- Coordinate with maintenance team to address machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, process parameters, and inspection requirements.
- Monitor and improve shop floor discipline, safety practices, and housekeeping (5S).




- Support implementation of Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide machine operators to improve productivity and quality.

Technical Knowledge:

- CNC machining processes including Turning, Milling, Broaching, and Balancing.
- Understanding of machining drawings, tolerances, and process control.

Qualification:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:
Min 3 years of experience in CNC machining operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
