Job Responsibilities:

- Carry out stage-wise in-process inspection of welded frames and press beams.
- Inspect frame inner width at specified locations as per drawing.
- Perform visual inspection and operation-miss checks at every welding stage.
- Check and monitor welding process parameters of all welding sets.
- Maintain daily welding defect records and inspection reports.
- Conduct a daily 5-minute defect meeting with welders and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor Vibration Stress Relieving (VSR) of frames and press beams.
- Verify manual punch marks/guides on frames and press beams.
- Conduct monthly layout inspection as per ballooning drawings.
- Inspect and maintain records of welding fixtures, including calibration/inspection status.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all inspection activities.
- perform required SAP Quality/Inspection entries.

Required Skills:

- knowledge of welding inspection and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.




- Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
- Good understanding of welding defects and corrective actions.
- Basic computer knowledge; SAP knowledge preferred.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
