About the Cartel

Barbell Cartel is not a commercial gym. It is Bangalore's most serious strength facility - privately owned, barbell-driven, and built for people who are committed to real results. Our members do not join because it is convenient. They join because they are serious. We need a sales person who understands that difference and can sell from that position.

The Role

Most gyms hire someone to sit at a desk and hand out trial passes. That is not this job.

This is a full-time, on-site sales role where you are the first impression of the Cartel. You will convert walk-ins, handle inquiries, build relationships, and grow membership at BC II — our new one-acre, three-floor facility launching in Whitefield. You will not be selling a gym. You will be selling a standard. That requires a different kind of person.

What You Will Do

- Convert walk-ins, calls, and online inquiries into committed members — not just sign-ups
- Understand every prospect deeply enough to match them to the right membership and coaching structure
- Follow up relentlessly — the sale does not end when they walk out the door
- Own the onboarding experience — every new member should feel the Cartel standard from their very first interaction with you
- Work alongside the coaching team to ensure members who join stay, progress, and refer others




- Build relationships with local businesses, communities, and networks in Whitefield to generate leads
- Track your numbers — conversion rate, follow-up rate, membership growth — and be accountable to them every week

Who We Are Looking For

Someone who is obsessed with people and obsessed with closing. Someone who genuinely believes in what Barbell Cartel stands for and can communicate that belief in a two-minute conversation. Someone who does not need to be chased to follow up, does not make excuses when numbers are down, and takes personal responsibility for every lead that walks through the door.

Experience in fitness sales is a strong advantage. A genuine passion for strength training and understanding of what BC represents is non-negotiable. You cannot sell what you do not believe in.

What You Earn

Competitive base salary with performance-based commission. The better you sell, the more you earn. There is no ceiling on what a great salesperson makes here.
