About the Role

GRASSHOPPER LIFESTYLE PVT LTD is looking for a creative and commercially focused Fashion Designer to join our women’s ethnic wear team.

The candidate will be responsible for developing new designs and collections that reflect current trends while meeting the brand’s production and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new designs for women’s ethnic wear, including Kurtis and coordinated sets
- Research current fashion, fabric, colour and print trends
- Select suitable fabrics, colours, prints and design details
- Develop design concepts and prepare design references and tech packs
- Coordinate with pattern, sampling and production teams
- Follow up on samples and make necessary design modifications
- Ensure designs are practical and suitable for bulk production
- Develop commercially viable designs within the brand’s target price range
- Maintain proper records of designs and samples

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in women’s ethnic wear/fashion design preferred
- Valuable knowledge of fabrics,



prints, colours and garment construction
- Strong creative and trend-awareness skills
- Ability to convert design concepts into production-ready garments
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Fashion Design qualification preferred; relevant practical industry experience will also be considered
- Portfolio or work samples required

Salary

₹20000 – ₹25000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
