SALES HEAD – FOUNDRY / STEEL CASTINGS

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Head with 15+ years of experience in the foundry / steel castings industry, particularly in handling overseas customers and export business. The candidate will be responsible for driving international sales, developing new customers and markets, strengthening existing customer relationships, and achieving business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage international sales and export business for steel castings and engineering components.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas customers, OEMs, EPC companies and industrial buyers.
- Identify new international markets, customers and business opportunities.
- Handle the complete sales cycle from enquiry, technical discussion and quotation to order finalization, dispatch and customer satisfaction.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Foundry, Costing and Logistics teams.
- Review customer enquiries and read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and effectively communicate manufacturing feasibility, quality requirements and commercial aspects.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, pricing, contracts and payment terms with customers.
- Monitor sales pipeline, enquiry conversion, order booking, sales forecast and business profitability.
- Travel internationally, whenever required, for customer visits, business development,



exhibitions and technical/commercial meetings.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Lead and mentor the sales team and establish effective sales strategies and performance targets.
- Ensure achievement of sales revenue, export growth, customer acquisition and profitability targets.
- Maintain regular MIS and management reports on sales performance, market opportunities and customer development.

Candidate Profile

- 15+ years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in the foundry / steel castings / engineering components industry.
- Strong experience in overseas sales and export customer management.
- Good understanding of steel casting manufacturing processes, foundry practices and quality requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of technical sales .
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, customer relationship and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Robust commercial acumen with the ability to understand costing, pricing, margins and profitability.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
