Job Description

TYKA Sports is looking for a motivated and responsible Salesman to join our Sales Department. The candidate will be responsible for handling ZEM portal activities, government tenders, quotations, order processing, and sales coordination.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of online tender portals, government sales processes, documentation, and customer follow-up. Experience in sportswear, garments, sports equipment, or government/institutional sales will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle ZEM portal on a regular basis for tender-related activities.
- Search and identify relevant government and institutional tenders.
- Check tender requirements, eligibility criteria, specifications, and submission deadlines.
- Prepare and submit tender bids, quotations, and required documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments for pricing, product specifications, GST details, technical documents, and other tender requirements.
- Follow up on submitted tenders and track tender status.
- Coordinate with government departments, institutions, schools, academies, and other customers.
- Generate sales through government and institutional enquiries.
- Handle customer communication through phone, email, and online portals.
- Prepare sales quotations, proforma invoices, and other sales documents.
- Maintain proper records of tenders, quotations, orders, and customer follow-ups.




- Coordinate with Accounts, Production, and Dispatch departments for timely order execution.
- Visit customers or government/institutional offices when required.
- Ensure timely submission of all tender documents and responses.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of ZEM portal and online tender procedures.
- Basic understanding of government tenders and e-procurement processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Email, and internet applications.
- Ability to prepare quotations and maintain sales records.
- Strong follow-up and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Hindi , Punjabi and English will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who is hardworking, confident, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple tender and sales activities. Candidates having previous experience in government tender sales, ZEM portal, e-tendering, sports products, garments, uniforms, or institutional supplies will be given preference.
