We are looking for a skilled and responsible Utility Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain utility systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous plant operations. The Utility Operator will be responsible for routine equipment checks, recording operating parameters, identifying abnormalities, and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor utility equipment and systems such as boilers, chillers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, HVAC systems, water treatment systems, and generators, as applicable.
- Monitor equipment operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, level, and electrical readings.
- Perform routine inspections of utility equipment and identify leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, or other operating issues.
- Start, stop, and operate equipment according to approved operating procedures.
- Maintain daily utility operation logs, checklists, and equipment records.
- Ensure utilities are supplied continuously and efficiently to production and other plant areas.
- Carry out routine housekeeping and maintain cleanliness around utility equipment.
- Assist maintenance personnel during preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Report equipment abnormalities, breakdowns, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Monitor consumption of fuel, water, electricity, steam, compressed air, and other utilities.
- Support energy-saving and utility-efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with company safety and environmental requirements.




- Respond appropriately to utility emergencies and equipment failures.
- Maintain positive communication with production, maintenance, quality, and other departments.

Required Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field.
- Previous experience in utility operations, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or similar industrial environments is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of utility equipment and industrial safety procedures.
- Ability to read equipment gauges, operating parameters, and basic technical documents.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
