Key Responsibilities :

End-to-End EXIM Operations & Documentation

Handle the complete lifecycle of import and export processes from origin to destination.

Generate, review, and process all critical trade documentation, including Purchase Orders (POs), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Airway Bills (AWB), and Certificates of Origin.

Ensure accuracy in all shipping documents to prevent delays and discrepancies.

Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and bank related activities .

Customs Clearance & Compliance

Execute smooth customs clearance processes for both imports and exports.

Accurately determine and apply proper HS Codes (Harmonized System Codes) for complex chemical and pharmaceutical shipments to ensure accurate duty calculations and compliance.

Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHAs) and regulatory authorities to resolve any clearance bottlenecks.

Ensure all shipments comply with international pharmaceutical and chemical trade regulations, including handling dangerous goods (DG) and cold-chain requirements where applicable.

Logistics & Vendor Management

Source, evaluate, and onboard recent logistics service providers, freight forwarders,



and CHAs to optimize routing and costs.

Negotiate freight rates, carrier contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) for sea, air, and road transport.

Track and monitor global shipments, developing systems to provide real-time visibility to internal stakeholders and international clients.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Duties

Apply expert knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020 to global trade contracts and negotiations.

Collaborate closely with the sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to align dispatch schedules with production and client deadlines.

Utilize software tool ZOHO CRM or ERP systems to maintain accurate records of international transactions, vendor performance, and freight analytics.
