THE OPPORTUNITY – Senior AI Engineer

In this role, as a Senior AI Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing Engineering team shaping the future of enterprise AI applications. Operating as a senior technical authority, you will bridge traditional software engineering with cutting-edge AI capabilities to architect, build, and deploy scalable, production-ready AI systems that solve complex technical problems and elevate core business capabilities. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and enterprise stakeholders while mentoring engineering team members and driving technical excellence across the AI organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Architect & Build Scalable AI Systems: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, enterprise-grade AI-powered applications, microservices, and high-performance backend systems.

- Drive AI Innovation & Design Thinking: Partner cross-functionally with product managers, enterprise architects, and UX designers to identify high-impact AI opportunities, operationalizing Generative AI patterns and agentic workflows.

- Lead Technical Quality & Engineering Excellence: Establish architectural standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and build maintainable, automated software systems leveraging modern AI/ML frameworks such as Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.

- Scale & Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy, monitor, scale, and optimize AI applications for latency, security, reliability, and cost in high-throughput production environments.

- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, drive MLOps best practices,



and contribute to standardizing AI engineering workflows across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Must-Have Skills

- Software Development Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field with 5yrs+ years of hands-on software development experience, including expert proficiency in Python or Java, system design, API development, and microservices architecture.

- Advanced AI/ML Expertise: Deep understanding of core AI/ML concepts including model architecture, fine-tuning techniques, retrieval pipelines, evaluation methodologies, and hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.

- Architectural Problem Solving: Strong systems design, design thinking, and analytical skills with a proven track record of shipping complex, resilient software solutions in quick-paced SaaS environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Modern Generative AI Architectures: Hands-on experience architecting production LLM applications, prompt engineering pipelines, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant), or autonomous agentic workflows.

- Cloud & MLOps Infrastructure: Deep familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including CI/CD automation pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), model deployment practices, and MLOps tooling.

- Technical Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical workstreams, driving architectural decision-making, and mentoring technical peers.
