Job Summary

The Service Advisor is responsible for handling customer service requirements, coordinating vehicle servicing and repairs, preparing job cards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves acting as a link between customers and the service workshop to ensure timely and quality service for Eicher commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Inspect vehicles with customers and identify reported issues.
- Prepare job cards with accurate customer complaints and vehicle details.
- Explain required repairs, service procedures, and estimated costs to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians and workshop supervisors to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair progress and delivery schedules.
- Prepare service estimates and obtain customer approval before proceeding with repairs.
- Ensure proper documentation of vehicle service history, job cards, and invoices.
- Follow up with customers after service to obtain feedback and ensure satisfaction.




- Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate with the concerned team for resolution.
- Promote periodic maintenance, preventive servicing, and additional service requirements.
- Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure the availability of required parts.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, safety procedures, and customer-handling practices.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant automobile service experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle servicing and repair processes is an added advantage.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and good communication skills may also apply.

- Basic technical knowledge of commercial vehicles.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple service requests efficiently.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
- Customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience

Relevant experience in commercial vehicle servicing or an automobile dealership is preferred.
