Job Overview

Petal Asta Beauty is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Management Executive to manage stock, monitor product availability, coordinate with suppliers and ensure the smooth handling of skincare and beauty products.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring expiry dates and ensuring proper storage and timely dispatch of products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory and Stock Management

Maintain daily records of skincare and beauty product inventory.

Track stock received, sold, returned and damaged.

Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock products.

Maintain SKU-wise inventory records for each product.

2. Expiry Date and Quality Control

Monitor manufacturing dates, batch numbers and expiry dates.

Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) for products with expiry dates.

Ensure products are stored according to manufacturer instructions.

Identify damaged, leaking, expired or defective products and report them immediately.

3. Supplier and Purchase Coordination

Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and packaging vendors.

Track purchase orders, pending deliveries and restocking requirements.

Verify product quantities, batch details and packaging quality upon receipt.

Maintain supplier records, purchase invoices and product documentation.

4. Order Processing and Dispatch

Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams for timely order fulfilment.

Ensure correct products and quantities are packed and dispatched.

Update inventory after every sale,



return or exchange.

Maintain records of returns, replacements and damaged shipments.

5. Reporting and Stock Planning

Prepare daily stock updates and weekly inventory reports.

Identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.

Recommend reorder quantities based on sales and marketing forecasts.

Coordinate with the marketing team before major campaigns and product launches to ensure sufficient stock availability.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of inventory management.

Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

Robust organisational and record-keeping skills.

Attention to detail, especially with batch numbers and expiry dates.

Ability to coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff and sales teams.

Experience with ecommerce inventory software is an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

Graduate in any discipline preferred.

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Freshers with strong Excel skills and attention to detail may apply.

Salary

₹12,000–₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Inventory record accuracy.

Zero dispatches of expired or unauthorised stock.

Timely identification of low-stock products.

Reduction in damaged and expired inventory.

Accurate batch and expiry-date tracking.

Timely order processing and inventory reporting.

Founder / Operations Manager

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
