Job Description – Inventory In-charge

Location: Kochi, Kerala
Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a credible, disciplined, and reliable Inventory In-charge, preferably an ex-military/ex-service professional, to manage inventory operations, maintain accurate stock records, supervise stock handling, and ensure accountability across all inventory-related activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage daily inventory operations, including stock receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch.
- Verify incoming goods against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, identification, and arrangement of products.
- Monitor stock movement and report shortages, excess stock, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
- Supervise inventory staff and ensure discipline and adherence to procedures.
- Coordinate with the purchase, sales, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and accountability for all stock transactions.
- Implement measures to prevent stock loss, damage, misplacement, and unauthorised movement.




- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure inventory area.

Eligibility Criteria

- Preferably an ex-military/ex-service professional with a disciplined and responsible approach to work.
- Relevant experience in inventory management, stores, warehouse operations, or stock supervision is preferred.
- Solid integrity, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure stock accountability.
- Good organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with inventory software or Excel.
- Willingness to take ownership of inventory operations and maintain strict control over stock.

Compensation and Benefits
