Key Responsibilities

- Laboratory Preparation: Prepare laboratory apparatus, materials, specimens, and other resources required for practical sessions as per the teachers’ instructions.
- Equipment Management: Maintain, clean, and organise laboratory equipment, instruments, glassware, and other materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock registers, monitor consumption, and ensure timely replenishment of laboratory supplies.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed, including proper storage and handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Practical Session Support: Assist science teachers during experiments and practical activities, as required.
- Maintenance: Report damaged equipment, stock shortages, and maintenance requirements to the concerned authority.
- Record Keeping: Maintain laboratory records, equipment registers,



chemical inventories, and issue/return registers.
- Housekeeping: Ensure the laboratory is clean, organised, and ready for practical sessions.
- Student Safety: Supervise laboratory activities as assigned and ensure students follow safety instructions.
- Additional Duties: Perform other laboratory-related responsibilities assigned by the School Principal or Science Coordinator.

Educational Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: Class 12 in the Science stream, preferably with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
