Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and proactive Assistant Restaurant Manager to be part of our team at The Port Land.

This is a hands-on, all-round role for someone who is willing to take on different responsibilities and help keep the restaurant running smoothly. From sourcing supplies and managing inventory to coordinating staff and overseeing daily operations, we are looking for someone who is flexible, organised, and ready to learn and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily Operations: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Source ingredients, supplies, and other essentials, coordinate with vendors, compare prices, and ensure timely purchases.
- Inventory & Stock Keeping: Maintain stock records, monitor inventory levels, track usage, and ensure timely replenishment while minimising wastage.
- Team Management: Coordinate with kitchen, service, and housekeeping staff, manage schedules, monitor attendance, and maintain a positive working workplace.
- Restaurant Upkeep: Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, organisation, and overall upkeep of the restaurant.
- Customer Experience: Help ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and consistent service, and handle customer concerns when required.




- Coordination & Administration: Maintain daily records, assist with operational reporting, and communicate effectively with the management team.
- Problem-Solving: Take initiative, identify operational issues, and find practical solutions.
- Other Responsibilities: Be open to learning new tasks and taking on responsibilities outside the usual scope of the role whenever needed.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
