Job Overview

We are looking for a strategic and technology-driven Head – Enterprise AI & Intelligence to lead the organization’s AI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and intelligent automation initiatives. The role will be responsible for identifying high-impact AI opportunities across the gems manufacturing value chain and building scalable solutions that improve productivity, quality, profitability, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Enterprise AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Automation, and AI-led digital transformation, preferably within manufacturing, gems & jewellery, retail, or another complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities1. AI & Digital Transformation Strategy

- Develop and execute the company's enterprise-wide AI and Intelligence roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI across manufacturing, sales, finance, HR, procurement, inventory, supply chain, and management functions.
- Build an AI-first culture and drive adoption of AI-powered solutions across the organization.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and use cases relevant to the gems manufacturing industry.

2. Manufacturing & Operations Intelligence

- Implement AI/ML solutions to optimize production planning, resource allocation, process efficiency, and productivity.
- Use AI and analytics for quality control, defect detection, yield optimization, wastage reduction, and process improvement.
- Develop predictive models for production performance, machine maintenance, inventory requirements, and operational bottlenecks.
- Leverage computer vision and AI for gemstone inspection, grading support, sorting, and quality monitoring wherever applicable.

3. Business Intelligence & Analytics

- Establish a centralized Enterprise Intelligence framework covering MIS, dashboards, KPIs, predictive analytics, and management reporting.
- Develop real-time dashboards providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Convert large and complex business datasets into strategic recommendations and measurable business outcomes.
- Establish data-driven KPI frameworks across manufacturing and corporate functions.

4. Generative AI & Intelligent Automation

- Identify and deploy Generative AI, AI Agents, LLMs, RAG,



and intelligent automation use cases.
- Develop AI-powered internal assistants for employees, management, operations, documentation, and knowledge management.
- Automate repetitive processes involving reports, documentation, customer communication, data processing, and decision support.
- Explore AI applications for forecasting, customer intelligence, market intelligence, product development, and business planning.

5. Data Strategy & Governance

- Establish enterprise data architecture, data governance, data quality, security, and accessibility standards.
- Ensure data from ERP, CRM, manufacturing systems, finance, inventory, sales, and other platforms can be effectively integrated for analytics.
- Build a reliable single source of truth for critical business information.
- Ensure responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI and company data.

6. Team & Technology Leadership

- Build and lead a high-performing team of Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, BI Analysts, Automation Specialists, and AI Product Managers.
- Define technology architecture, tools, platforms, and development standards.
- Manage external AI technology partners, consultants, and solution providers.
- Establish frameworks for evaluating, piloting, deploying, and scaling AI initiatives.

7. Executive & Business Partnership

- Work closely with the CEO, MD, CXOs, and business heads to identify strategic AI opportunities.
- Present AI-driven insights, business cases, ROI, and transformation progress to senior management.
- Ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable improvements in revenue, margins, productivity, quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Drive change management and employee adoption of AI-enabled processes.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification would be an advantage.
- 12+ years of experience in AI, Data Science, Analytics, Digital Transformation, Technology, or related fields, with significant leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on and strategic understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, Data Analytics, BI, Computer Vision, Automation, and Cloud technologies.
- Experience in building and implementing enterprise-level AI strategies and solutions.
- Robust understanding of ERP, CRM, databases, APIs, data warehouses/lakes, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Experience leading cross-functional AI/digital transformation initiatives.
- Manufacturing experience is highly preferred; Gems & Jewellery, Diamonds, Luxury, Retail, or other manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology opportunities into measurable business value.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
