Sr.Engineer - QA/QC – with 7–10 Years Experience

We are an emerging manufacturing company setting up a recent facility in Coimbatore, focused on producing high-quality, precision-engineered sheet metal enclosures for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Hazardous Environment applications. We are currently seeking an Sr.Engineer - QA/QC – with 7–10 Years Experienceto be a key contributor to our product development and manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities:

- He is responsible for certification processes for IECEx, ATEX, PESO, UL, CE marking.
- Need to prepare, review and maintain Technical Records (TR) and Quality Assurance Reports (QAR) for panels, enclosures, JBs, LCS, and integration of projects panels.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and facility quality systems.
- Maintain error-free documentation before and after certifications (IECEx, ATEX, PESO, UL, CE).
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for staff/operators and ensure strict adherence.
- Maintain separate documentation for internal and external audits.
- Record and track non-conformities (NCs), product defects, and corrective actions.
- Maintain systematic facility documentation for audit readiness and certifications.
- Inspect and verify incoming materials with relevant documents.




- Monitor assembly processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Coordinate with machine operators and assembly technicians for quality consistency.
- Conduct routine tests on finished products before customer release.
- Perform type tests when required to validate product quality.
- Operate and handle instruments like continuity testers, meggers, HV testers and sheet metal related instruments.
- Perform periodic calibration of instruments and maintain calibration records.
- Ensure tools are properly arranged and maintained at designated locations.
- Display quality slogans/signage to promote productivity and awareness.
- Liaise with customers to gather feedback for product improvement.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, Design and departmental heads for smooth operations.
- Provide regular training (daily/weekly/monthly) to staff, operators, and technicians.
- Arrange external training programs for staff and operators to enhance productivity.
- Support HR/Management during onboarding by verifying qualifications and fitness of new staff/workers.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen practices with documentation.
- Promote health and safety practices across the organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹486,657.40 - ₹900,000.00 per year
