Job Description

- Provide secure, compassionate and quality nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, clinical condition and progress.
- Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures and emergency care.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, patient charts and medication records.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety and biomedical-waste management protocols.




- Ensure proper handover and takeover of patients and duty-related information.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness, safety and readiness of the nursing unit.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, treatment and basic health care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in CPR/emergency procedures as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and professional conduct.
- Perform any other nursing duties assigned by the Nursing In-charge / Nursing Superintendent.
