Designation: Design Engineer

Job Purpose

To prepare accurate technical drawings for aluminium windows, doors and related products based on customer requirements, site measurements and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for aluminium windows, doors and related products.

2. Prepare drawings based on customer requirements, site measurements and approved specifications.

3. Convert measurements and design requirements into production-ready drawings.

4. Coordinate with sales, production and installation teams regarding drawings and specifications.

5. Verify dimensions, profiles, glass specifications, hardware and other relevant details before releasing drawings for production.

6. Make revisions based on customer, site or production requirements.

7. Maintain records of approved and revised drawings.

8. Prepare 3D models of products and components.

9. Create 3D assemblies to check component fit and functionality.

Prepare and produce prototypes using a 3D printer.

Education

Diploma / ITI / relevant technical qualification preferred.

Experience

1–3 years of AutoCAD experience preferred. Freshers can also apply.

Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D

2. Understanding of technical drawings and measurements

3. Knowledge of aluminium windows/doors is an advantage

4. Attention to detail

5. Ability to interpret dimensions and specifications

6. Good coordination with production and sales

7. Proficiency in SolidWorks or any other 3D CAD software for 3D modelling and assemblies

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
