Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with experience in sheet metal component design, 2D and 3D modelling, bending, cutting, and dimensional drawings. The candidate should have practical knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and engineering drawing interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D designs and detailed engineering drawings for sheet metal components.
- Develop part drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Create designs for sheet metal bending, cutting, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting, modelling, and design development.
- Prepare flat pattern drawings and sheet metal layouts for manufacturing.




- Understand fabrication requirements and ensure designs are suitable for production.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Verify drawings, measurements, and dimensions to ensure accuracy.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Valuable understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of bending, cutting, folding, and dimensional drawings.
- Ability to prepare and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.

- Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.
- Experience: Relevant experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing minimum 10 yrs.
