Senior Java Developer

Job Description

MD Reality Labs is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, database management, and backend system architecture.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and application security practices.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Follow software development best practices, design patterns, and version control workflows.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.




- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend development.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and debugging.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
