Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Commis 2 / Commis 3 – Indian & Tandoor professionals to join our kitchen team. The candidate should have practical experience in Indian cuisine and Tandoor operations and be able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing Indian cuisine and Tandoor dishes as per standard recipes.
- Prepare and cook naan, roti, kebabs, tikka and other Tandoor items.
- Assist the senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Perform mise en place and ensure all ingredients are properly prepared.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and workstations.




- Properly store and handle food items to minimize wastage.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the senior chef about shortages.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and instructions from the Chef/Sous Chef.
- Support the team during busy service hours.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of experience in Indian Kitchen / Tandoor.
- Good knowledge of Indian cooking techniques.
- Practical knowledge of Tandoor operations.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Discipline, punctuality and a positive attitude.

Preferred

- Experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or QSR environment.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in both Indian & Tandoor sections will be preferred.
