INTERIO MATE is an interior design and modular furniture company specializing in residential and commercial interior projects. Our services include modular kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms, living rooms, TV units, office interiors, customized furniture, and complete interior execution.

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Interior Designer who can manage projects from concept development and 2D/3D design to technical drawings, factory coordination, site execution, and final handover.

Job Responsibilities1. Interior Design & Space Planning

- Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, and detailed 2D drawings.
- Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and customized furniture.
- Select suitable materials, laminates, colors, finishes, lighting, and hardware.
- Ensure maximum space utilization, functionality, and premium aesthetics.

2. 2D & 3D Design

- Prepare accurate 2D layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Create realistic 3D models and renders for client presentations.
- Prepare furniture details, dimensions, and material specifications.
- Revise designs according to client requirements and site conditions.
- Present design concepts professionally to clients.

3. Technical Drawings & Factory Coordination

- Prepare detailed production and installation drawings for modular furniture.
- Provide accurate measurements and specifications to the production team.
- Prepare or coordinate cutting lists, panel sizes,



and hardware requirements.
- Understand plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, edge banding, hinges, channels, and other furniture materials.
- Coordinate with CNC operators, production managers, supervisors, and installation teams.
- Verify drawings and measurements before production to minimize material wastage and rework.

4. Site Execution & Project Management

- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, and execution planning.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other contractors as required.
- Monitor work progress, quality, finishing, and design accuracy.
- Resolve design and execution issues in coordination with the relevant teams.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct final quality checks and support project handover.

5. Client Handling & Documentation

- Understand client requirements, budgets, and expectations.
- Explain designs, materials, finishes, and furniture specifications to clients.
- Coordinate design approvals and revisions.
- Support quotation preparation and material estimation.
- Maintain project drawings, measurements, revisions, and execution records.
- Communicate project updates clearly to clients and management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design and execution.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, or other rendering tools is an advantage.




- Solid understanding of modular furniture design and manufacturing.
- Ability to prepare accurate technical and production drawings.
- Knowledge of materials, hardware, measurements, and installation methods.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English or Hindi; Kannada is an advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be creative, technically strong, practical, and execution-oriented. The candidate must be comfortable coordinating with clients, the factory production team, and site workers.

We prefer someone who understands not only how to design beautiful interiors but also how to convert designs into accurate drawings, manufacturable furniture, and successfully completed projects.
