Educational Background

- Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree: Any Degree

Experience: 3 to 7+ years of experience in healthcare preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Night Operations & Administrative Leadership

- Serve as the highest in office administrative decision-maker during the night shift.
- Manage operational bottlenecks, facility issues, power/utility disruptions, and emergency facility alerts.
- Direct emergency admissions, disaster protocols, and mass casualty responses until senior leadership arrives.
- Liaise with clinical department heads, administrative directors, and consultants on call during critical incidents.

2. Patient Relations & Bed Management

- Oversee patient admissions, ward-to-ICU transfers, discharges, and bed allocations across all units.
- Streamline patient flow between the Emergency Department (ED), ICUs, and inpatient wards to eliminate delay.
- Address and resolve patient or family grievances and escalate critical non-routine matters as necessary.

3. Staffing & Clinical Support Coordination

- Partner with charge nurses and nursing supervisors to monitor and maintain optimal patient-to-staff ratios.
- Dynamically reallocate nursing, paramedic,



and support personnel based on sudden changes in patient volume or acuity.
- Track night shift attendance, punctuality, and address immediate workforce shortages.

4. Quality, Safety & Security Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, JCI) during night hours.
- Perform regular administrative rounds across critical areas (Emergency, ICUs, Inpatient Wards, Diagnostics, Pharmacy).
- Coordinate closely with security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to maintain facility safety, hygiene, and access control.

5. Inter-Departmental Coordination & Reporting

- Facilitate seamless interaction between clinical teams and support departments (Laboratory, Radiology, Blood Bank, Pharmacy, Billing).
- Oversee billing clearances and emergency discharge procedures during the night.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports detailing operations, admissions, sentinel events, equipment issues, and staffing updates.
- Conduct formal morning handovers with day-shift management and senior leadership.
