Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Nursing Team Lead to support the day-to-day functioning of our General Ward and Daycare Unit.

The role involves providing hands-on nursing care, assisting with minor clinical procedures, supporting junior nursing staff, maintaining departmental standards, and coordinating with doctors and other staff to ensure smooth patient care.

The position is suited for an experienced nurse who can take responsibility for day-to-day nursing activities and guide the team when required.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc Nursing / GNM
- Valid registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on clinical nursing experience
- Previous experience guiding junior nurses or working in a senior nursing position is preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Provide and supervise day-to-day nursing care in the General Ward and Daycare
- Assist doctors with minor clinical procedures
- Support the nursing team in the care of patients from admission through discharge
- Guide and coordinate the work of nursing staff and trainees
- Ensure proper maintenance of nursing records and HMS entries
- Monitor basic nursing supplies and inform the Branch Manager of stock requirements
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the nursing area
- Assist in preparing nursing duty rosters
- Maintain nursing discipline and adherence to established procedures
- Coordinate with doctors, front office,



pharmacy, and other departments when required
- Identify operational issues and escalate them to the Branch Manager
- Suggest practical improvements to nursing and patient-care processes

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Branch Manager

The Nursing Team Lead will coordinate the work of 4 nursing staff, along with trainees, as required.

We are a well-established OP Clinic operating for over 22 years, with:

- 4 full-time OP doctors
- Approximately 30 employees across operational departments
- A 15-bed daycare facility supporting OP services
- A busy outpatient and day-care environment

Shift Timings

Morning: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Noon: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Evening: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

No overnight shifts.
