SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENT

Position: Senior Accountant
Experience: 5–8 years
CTC: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Textile / Engineering industry
Location: Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant who can independently handle day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, monthly closing, reconciliations, MIS reporting and audit coordination.

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting and preferably have experience in a manufacturing organisation.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Finalization

· Handle day-to-day accounting transactions.

· Review purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.

· Prepare and review Trial Balance.

· Assist/handle monthly and year-end closing.

· Prepare/review Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet schedules.

· Ensure proper accounting of provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses and depreciation.

· Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.

2. GST & Statutory Compliance

· Handle GST accounting and reconciliation.

· GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation/coordination.

· Reconcile purchase data with GSTR-2B.

· Verify Input Tax Credit.

· Handle GST-related reconciliations, notices and queries.

· Knowledge of e-invoice and e-way bill is required.

3. TDS

· Verify TDS applicability and deductions.

· TDS payment and return filing coordination.

· TDS reconciliation.

· Handling Form 16A and TDS-related queries/notices.

4. Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

· Daily/weekly bank reconciliation.

· Vendor and customer ledger reconciliation.

· Debtors and creditors ageing.

· Follow-up and resolution of outstanding differences.

· Inter-company/related-party reconciliation, wherever applicable.

5. Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting

Candidate should have practical knowledge of:

· Raw material accounting

· WIP and finished goods

· Stock reconciliation

· Inventory valuation

· Material consumption





· Job work / outsourcing accounting

· Production-related expenses

· Cost centre accounting

· Factory overheads

Manufacturing industry experience will be strongly preferred.

6. MIS & Management Reporting

· Prepare monthly MIS reports.

· Prepare receivables/payables reports.

· Expense analysis.

· Cash flow / fund requirement reporting.

· Variance analysis.

· Provide accurate financial data and reports to management.

7. Audit Coordination

· Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors and CA.

· Provide schedules, ledgers and supporting documents.

· Resolve audit queries.

· Maintain audit-related documentation.

Software & Technical Skills

Must have:

· Tally Prime / ERP accounting software

· MS Excel – good practical knowledge

· GST

· TDS

· Bank reconciliation

· Final accounts

Excel knowledge should include:

· VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP

· SUMIF / SUMIFS

· Pivot Tables

· IF formulas

· Filters & sorting

· Reconciliation and data analysis

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be:

· Experienced and technically strong in accounting

· Able to work independently

· Responsible and detail-oriented

· Positive at reconciliation and follow-up

· Strong in statutory compliance

· Good communication and coordination skills

· Comfortable working with management, auditors, vendors and internal departments

· Capable of handling work within deadlines

Preferred Candidate

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

· 5–8 years of relevant experience

· Manufacturing / Textile / Engineering industry experience

· Experience in a medium/large organisation

· Hands-on GST and TDS knowledge

· Strong Excel and ERP/Tally skills

· Experience in finalization and audit coordination

Compensation

CTC: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience, knowledge and suitability.
