Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Tutor to support students studying the GCSE UK Curriculum. Duties

- Prepare and deliver clear, engaging lessons aligned with the GCSE UK Curriculum, focusing on key chemistry topics such as atomic structure, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry
- Assess students’ current understanding through diagnostic assessments and tailor instruction accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding of complex concepts
- Support students with exam preparation strategies, including practice questions and review sessions
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning setting that accommodates diverse learning styles and needs




- Track student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents or guardians when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, student attendance, and performance outcomes

Skills

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching chemistry at the GCSE level within the UK Curriculum
- Strong communication skills to explain scientific concepts clearly and motivate learners
- Experience working with children or young learners, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) to support students requiring additional assistance
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons effectively and monitor progress
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire curiosity and foster understanding of science topics
