What you will be doing:
This position is accountable for ensuring:
• Robust hands-on experience in handling, troubleshooting network and security-related issues.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco FMC and FTD platforms, including installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate diverse security risks in a fast-moving environment and be technically capable of suggesting and carrying out remediation, in accordance with Cisco''s security policies and standards.
• Implement security measures on network infrastructure, such as firewalls,
VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security policies
• Create and implement security policies, access control lists (ACLs), and NAT rules to ensure secure communication across the network.
• Implement and configure VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs, using FMC/FTD.
• Experience with SSL certificate management, including CSR generation, certificate renewal, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues related to FTD firewalls.
• Provide support for network security incidents, including malware detection, DDoS attacks, and firewall policy conflicts.
• Expert knowledge of advanced security features such as intrusion prevention, URL filtering, and malware analysis.
• Extensive working experience on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, along with Arista Cloud based and Routing.
