ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT





We are building a Managed Services team to support a large-scale enterprise data platform. The platform spans Cloudera on AWS, an on-premises Oracle data warehouse, Oracle GoldenGate replication, Apache Spark for ETL and data processing, and Alation for data governance. L1 support is handled by our existing team; this role is part of L2/L3 operations.

ROLE MISSION

Support and automate the AWS-based infrastructure and deployment processes of the data platform, improving reliability, observability and release quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and support AWS infrastructure for the data platform in production.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments and releases.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting and observability for platform components.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, and contribute to RCA.
- Manage configuration
