Job SummaryAs a Service Account Operations professional, you will be the backbone of themerchant lifecycle at Paytm. You will manage the backend operations for high-valueservice accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding, technical troubleshooting, andongoing service excellence. Your goal is to bridge the gap between businessdevelopment and technical resolution to ensure zero downtime for our merchantpartners.
Key Responsibilities Merchant Onboarding & Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end onboarding ofservice accounts ( QR/EDC services). Ensure all KYC, AML, and regulatorydocumentation is compliant with RBI guidelines. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with Key Account Managers(KAMs), Product, and Tech teams to resolve complex merchant queries andsystem bugs within the defined TAT (Turnaround Time). Service Monitoring: Monitor the health of payment services (Qr Codes, EdcMachine, Soundbox) and proactive alert management for service downtimesor high failure rates. Reconciliation & Payouts: Assist the finance team in merchantreconciliation,



ensuring that settlements are accurate and payouts areprocessed on time. SOP Maintenance: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) for account operations to improve team efficiency and service quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech, BBA, or B.Com preferred). Technical Proficiency: * Solid command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) for data analysis. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Fintech ecosystem, includingPayment Gateways, UPI, QR codes, and basic RBI regulations (KYC/AML).We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
