Job Description

This role is part of Alcon's Human Resources function, a team that collaborates across the business to shape company culture, manage talent, align associates to our purpose, and support associate development to help our people and the world see brilliantly.

The Manager, Employee Relations (Qualified Path) is primarily responsible for leading employee relations within Alcon for a specific geography or business. You will provide strategic advice, ensure HR compliance, and facilitate initiatives while developing policies and offering expert consultation on legal standards. Specifics include:





• Support the continued growth of the Employee Relations function and develop processes and systems.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports.
• Serve as a regional member of the Employee Representative Bodies Committee.
• Build effective relationships with HR partners to gather early information on relevant projects and initiatives.
• Develop an analytics strategy for the region; track, analyze, and monitor data to identify and solve emerging ER trends.
• Review case data with business stakeholders.
• Liaise with appropriate internal departments, leadership, and employees to respond to organizational or employee crises and urgent matters.
• Represent Alcon with external agencies as appropriate.
• Assist Global Employee Relations in developing and implementing employee/labor relations strategies that align with organizational initiatives and legal requirements.
