This position is based in Bangalore for leading on-site Capital Equipment program management functions for iPhone Operations team at contract manufacturing sites. Working cross- functionally in a team environment, the successful candidate will lead execution of program plans for both new and sustaining programs which result in successful completion of projects.

The program manager will also act as on-site leader for resolving all escalations from contract manufacturers and would drive closure and consensus amongst project team members, and escalate issues as necessary to Cupertino in timely manner when the project team is off track.

This role will plan,



develop and execute the capital equipment’s deployment at CM sites to support iPhone manufacturing by working with cross functional teams in India, US and China. Individuals are expected to show leadership in driving asset life cycle management to support functional and technical scope of individual iPhone projects across multiple sites in India. This role will regularly interact with executives and peers in iPhone Operations group and leaders in contract manufacturer management team. Interactions frequently will involve special skills, such as negotiating or management or attempting to influence CM behavior.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
5+ progressive years of functional and program management experience required in a matrix setting, across multiple sites through the entire asset lifecycle (Concept/Approval/ Deployment/Transfer/Scrap)
Experience in managing capital equipment repair and scrap processes preferable
Proficiency using Microsoft Project Or
