Business Unit Description
NXP’s Automotive Processing business line provides the processing power and system enablement needed to accelerate the next generation of automotive innovation, including vehicle networking, wireless connectivity, body and chassis, powertrain, safety, gateway, zone control, advanced driver assistance systems and central-compute applications. The business line includes flagship automotive processor platforms such as S32G, S32Z/E, S32N, and other next-generation real-time and applications processing devices that enable scalable vehicle architectures for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and connected automotive platforms.
Vehicle architectures are rapidly evolving from distributed ECU-based systems to zonal, domain and central-compute architectures, where software, high-speed networking, real-time processing, security, safety and AI-driven workloads are becoming key differentiators. Edge AI is bringing a major revolution to automotive innovation by enabling intelligent and protected decision-making closer to the vehicle.
Job Summary




• This position will be a part of AP Business Line working on above mentioned products directly associating with this transformation by combining heterogeneous compute, real-time processing, networking, accelerator integration and software enablement for next-generation automotive platforms.
• Solve customer system design issues throughout all stages of the customer product development cycle (conception through production). Provide responsive and thorough hardware and software technical support to enable successful launch and production of customer systems.
• Create and own the development of evaluation and demonstration HW and SW solutions that showcase NXP automotive devices capabilities and value proposition.
• Create and own solution development and proof-of-concept activities for automotive processor platforms, including reference boards, diagnostics software, software package enablement, and silicon bring-up.
