We are seeking an economist to support tax policy, advocacy, and thought leadership initiatives. The role involves working closely with partners on economic research, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory reform projects involving government bodies, industry associations, businesses, and international organisations.

Position Title: Senior Associate Economics (Tax Policy & Advocacy)
Reporting To: Principal Associate or Partner
Location: Mumbai & New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct economic and tax policy research on domestic and global developments.
• Prepare policy briefs, impact assessments, consultation papers, and thought leadership content.
• Support advocacy initiatives and engagements with policymakers, regulators, and industry groups.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations for tax and regulatory reforms.
• Track developments at institutions such as the OECD, UN, IMF, and World Bank.
• Collaborate with tax and legal professionals on multidisciplinary projects.





Qualifications
• Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Public Finance, International Economics, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in economic consulting, policy advisory, taxation, research, government, or industry bodies.
• Robust analytical, research, drafting, and communication skills.
