JOB SUMMARY
TPOTS is looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to develop, customize, optimize, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress architecture, custom theme and plugin development, API integrations, and website performance optimization.
The candidate should be capable of working independently, writing clean and secure code, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with designers and other team members to deliver high-quality web solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
• Build and extend WordPress functionality using PHP 8+, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), hooks, filters, and WordPress APIs.
• Develop and manage Custom Post Types (CPTs), taxonomies, custom fields, metadata, and dynamic website components.
• Work with WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality, customization, and integrations.




• Integrate third-party systems and APIs, including Salesforce, using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware where required.
• Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and overall performance.
• Work with MySQL databases, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
• Implement website security best practices, error handling, and clean coding standards.
• Use Git for version control, branching, collaboration, and code reviews.
• Manage deployment workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and production releases.
• Perform debugging, testing, and maintenance to ensure website reliability.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers in an Agile setting.
• Document code, follow development standards, and participate in technical reviews.
