Job Description – Design Engineer / Design Team LeaderJob Responsibilities• Plan, allocate, and monitor design-team activities, ensuring priorities, workloads, and deadlines are met.
• Review customer and internal engineering drawings to verify specifications, materials, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOMs), die and tooling drawings, casting requirements, tooling trials, and sample development activities.
• Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of UID numbers, the UID Master Sheet, and Master Inspection Reports.
• Coordinate the development of current gauges, rods, dies, tools, and other engineering components as per project requirements.
• Verify samples against approved drawings and supervise first-piece inspections of newly purchased items.
• Control engineering drawings, revisions, and engineering changes, ensuring proper documentation and implementation.
• Coordinate with production, quality, suppliers,



and customers to resolve design-related technical issues and clarify engineering requirements.
• Guide and support the design team in technical problem-solving, drawing interpretation, and product development activities.
• Ensure that all design and development activities comply with customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor the timely completion of design and development projects while maintaining accuracy, quality, and productivity.
