Role Description The District Finance and Accounts Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Shahjahanpur.



This role is responsible for managing district-level accounting operations, including voucher preparation, ledger posting, reconciliation of accounts, and maintenance of financial records in line with organizational policies. The specialist will prepare and review financial statements, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and ensure timely reporting to the central finance team. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring fund utilization, verifying supporting documentation, coordinating with program teams on expenditure planning, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal controls. The role also involves supporting audits, addressing finance-related queries from district staff, and providing explicit communication and guidance on financial procedures.
