About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to own our Accounts Payable function end to end for our US and international entities. You will make sure every vendor is paid accurately and on time, every liability is recorded correctly, and month-end close runs cleanly — with strong controls, clear reporting, and a constant focus on process improvement.

You will work closely with our US finance and operations teams, so your hours align with the US business day — a US shift from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST, in office at our Gurugram office. Hands-on Odoo ERP experience is a strong plus.

What You'll Own

Accounts Payable Operations
• Lead and develop the AP team, and act as the main AP contact for the US finance team, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Manage the full procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle — vendor invoice receipt, 2-way / 3-way matching (PO, GRN, invoice), coding, approvals, and payment.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and expense claims across US and international entities.




• Plan and run weekly / bi-weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, check, international transfers), managing cash requirements with treasury.
• Manage vendor master data — onboarding, KYC / W-9 / W-8 collection, bank detail verification, and duplicate-vendor prevention.
• Resolve vendor queries and disputes promptly and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, factories, and service providers.
• Monitor AP aging, payment terms, early-payment discounts, and DPO; flag risks and opportunities.

Month-End Close and Reporting
• Own the AP sub-ledger close — accruals, prepaids, GRNI / unbilled liabilities, and cut-off.
• Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger and vendor statements every month; clear reconciling items quickly.
• Prepare AP and expense reporting, accrual schedules, and variance analysis for management and the corporate finance team.
