About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales Associate with a Metallurgy/ Chemical engineering background to join our sales team. You will be the link between our products and customers, using your technical understanding to explain solutions, generate leads, and close orders. This role suits an engineer who enjoys talking to people, solving customer problems, and building a career in technical or industrial sales.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and generate new leads through cold calls, emails, referrals, site visits, and industry networking.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions based on technical specifications.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and technical explanations to clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers, and follow up until the order is closed.
• Coordinate with design, production,



and service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, and sales activity in the CRM.
• Track market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing, and share insights with the team.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the manager.
• Support the team in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events when required.

Required Qualifications
• B.Tech / B.E. from a recognised institution.
• 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a technical/application role (industrial, engineering, or B2B sales preferred).
• Good understanding of mechanical systems, components, or manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi (a regional language is a plus).
