About the RoleTargetOrate is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to support its Recent Zealand account liquor retail group, with a nationwide network of stores.

This role involves supporting inventory management, purchase order processing, stock reconciliation, supplier coordination, invoice verification, and operational reporting. The successful candidate will work with operations, accounts, procurement, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the timely completion of inventory-related activities.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of assigned tasks, maintains high levels of accuracy, communicates effectively, and follows established processes and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
• Monitor stock movements, receipts, dispatches, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update relevant systems.




• Identify stock discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.

2. Purchase Orders and Order Processing
• Process and track purchase orders and store orders.
• Monitor order status and follow up on pending deliveries.
• Verify ordered quantities against received stock and supporting documents.

3. Supplier and Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding pending orders, shortages, incorrect deliveries, and delays.
• Follow up on unresolved issues and ensure timely closure.
• Communicate discrepancies clearly to the relevant stakeholders.

4. Invoice, POD, and Price Verification
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery records, and agreed pricing.
• Match proof of delivery (POD) documents with relevant order records.
• Identify pricing mismatches, quantity differences, and missing documentation.
