Design Intern, Social Media and Graphics
Qissahauz | Full time internship

About the role
Qissahauz is a boutique creative brand strategy agency. You’ll take over the day-to-day social media work and other graphics work such as product-based creatives, insight-based posts, packaging work, with each brand needing its own look and voice.

Many of our clients sell physical products. A big part of this role is turning those products into creatives that make people stop scrolling and want to buy. That means working with product photos, packaging and offers, and finding an angle that feels fresh each time.

What you’ll do

1. Own the regular social media output for client brands: different brands, exciting ideas that actually work.
2. Design product-led creatives, from launches and offers to everyday feed posts, that show the product well and still look like the brand.
3. Come to briefs with ideas, not only questions. You’ll brainstorm with the existing designer before anything gets designed.
4. Cut reels and short videos in CapCut for social media.
5. Must know how to work with AI,

mainly for product-focused work.
6. Assist on other graphics as they come up such as packaging and digital product design, with the design team guiding you.
5. Keep files and folders in order, so the next person can open your work and find everything

How we work

You get the brief, ideate on it, brainstorm with the team and start designing. You may also sometimes get the brief de-briefed so you can focus on the work. You’ll be mentored directly by the founder, and you’ll work day to day with the core team.

What we look for, in order

1. Taste. You notice what makes a layout work, and your portfolio shows it.
2. Responsibility. You finish what you start, keep your files clean, and flag problems early.
3. Speed. It comes with practice, and we’d rather build it than require it.
4. Basic design knowledge. You should understand how a flat design becomes a physical object, print details, what work
